The project:
Epilepsy Awareness Day at Walt Disney World is a large-scale educational and community event bringing together people living with epilepsy, families, physicians, specialists, advocacy organizations, exhibitors and industry partners. With presentations from leading medical experts, educational resources, community activities and special events throughout the experience, the event required a visual communications system that could organize a significant amount of information while still feeling approachable, energetic and connected.
Our work extended across nearly every stage of the event, beginning with the development and application of consistent brand guidelines across pre-event marketing and communications. We created social media content, reels and videos, email campaigns and headers, schedules, invitations for special events, presentations and other digital materials designed to keep attendees informed and build excitement leading up to the event.
That visual system then carried into the on-site experience through a wide range of environmental graphics, printed materials and branded items. Deliverables included event and directional signage, specialty signage, pull-up and fabric banners, presentation materials, programs and booklets, attendee passports, handheld fans, T-shirts and promotional items. The result was a cohesive event presence that helped attendees navigate the experience, access important information and recognize the Epilepsy Awareness Day brand everywhere they encountered it.
