The project:
For nearly 80 years, Kingswood Community Center has been a cornerstone of the Riverside community in Wilmington, Delaware, providing education, resources, programs and support for generations of families. As Kingswood prepared to open the doors to its new community center, its longtime Early Learning Academy was entering a new chapter of its own: becoming the Ernest L. Webster Montessori School.
The transition called for more than a new logo. The school needed a complete visual system that could introduce its Montessori approach, connect with families and still feel at home within the larger Kingswood community. We developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines, establishing the foundations for how the new school would look and feel across everything from everyday communications to enrollment materials and community events.
From there, we brought the brand to life across a wide range of applications, including social media, presentation decks, postcards, business cards, letterhead and envelopes, flyers, folders, tablecloths, pull-up banners, apparel and merchandise. Each piece was designed as part of one cohesive system, giving the Webster team practical tools they could continue using as the school grows.
The result is a bright, welcoming and flexible identity designed for the families Webster serves today while giving the school a strong foundation for the years ahead.
